St. Thomas cross necklace (Mar Thoma Sleeva)

The St. Thomas cross is intimately connected with the journey of St. Thomas the Apostle, who is traditionally believed to have brought Christianity to India. Over centuries, it has evolved into a cherished icon among the St. Thomas Christian communities, particularly in Kerala! Its design, featuring many symbolic elements, represents not only faith and sacrifice but also the convergence of cultural traditions and artisanal craftsmanship.

Stone-textured Version: Inspired by ancient stone monuments and stones upon which the very first St. Thomas crosses were carved - dating back to the 1st century.

Wood-Textured Version: Inspired by the cross of Christ.
